FLOWER SHOW
The Opotiki Sunshine League is holding its Chrysanthemum Show in the Lyric Hall on Thursday, April 27 and the exhibition will be carried on through the evening. Points prizes will be given in the dahlia class for the greatest number of exhibits, and Mr. G. S. Moody's silver challenge cup for the champion chrysanthemum bloom will arouse very keen competition. His Worship, the Mayor (Mr. J. T. Thompson) will open the show. The secretary, Mrs. C. Clark, will be in attendance at the County Council Room from 3 to 4.30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28 and Wednesday, April 26, from 10.30 till 12 noon.
