HOLIDAY TOURNEY
PROGRESSIVE DOUBLES ON GOVT. GROUNDS GREENSRESULTS OF PLAY . The Rotorua Bowling"Club, according to its established practice, marked the Easter holiday with a tournament which took the form of progressive doubles competitions. The greens were playing well and the pleasant weather conditions were entirely favourable to play. The series played on Friday, was won by Queenin in the skips section and Dawson in the leads, each with four wins and no losses. The second series, piayed on Saturday, was won by Brownie (skips) and Watson (leads). In this section, Watson tied with Jackson, but won the aggregate. Four games of 14 heads were play- ■ ed in each case. Detailed results: —
