AUCKLAND PROVINCIAL HOiRSES PRACTICALLY SCOOP THE POOL NEARLY ALL IN MONEY

t Hawera, Saturday. Horses from the Auckland Province practieally scooped the pool at the Hawera Trots to-day and provided the majority of the entries. Min Bells from Robertson's stable won the Auroa Handicap and the Normanby Handicap. Kohewah from W. J ohnstone Tamahere team won the Manaia Handicap and was third in the Matapu ahd Te Mahanga from the same stable won the Stratford Handicap. Raider and Guid Hairst from Fred Smith's stable were first and second in the President's Handicap and Fisher (New dick's) third. Gold Seam notched a third and a fourth, the only unplaced Auckland horses being Demand and Gracker. Worthy Chief had a second and third and Neil Volo- a second. In all the Auckland contingent took five .firsts, three seconds and five thirds on the day.
