FACTOR'S SON WILL SEND HOME IN PIECES IF RAPJSOM NOT : iPAID SWINDLING CHARGES

Req. April 16, 7.25 p.m. Chicago, April 15. Jerome Factor, a 17-year-old son of "Jack the Banker" is held for 100,000 dollar ransom, according to a police statement. The elder Factor is awaiting the outeome of -an appeal to the United States Supreme Court from an order extraditing him to England on charges of swindling covering an amount of 8,000,00,0 dollars. The police reported that young Factor was abducted on Wedriesday night as he was about to enter his home where he was living with his mother, who has been divorced from the elder Factor for seyeral years. The father received a ransom note on Friday demanding 50,QO0 dollars, but q second note was received later raising the amount to, 100,000 dol- . lars. The first letter contained a threat to send the youth home in pieces unless the demand was complied with.
