MANCHUKUO WILL DEMAND RETURN OF ALL STOCK MAY SEIZE LINE

Rec. April 16, 6.35 p.m. Shanghai, April 15. Following Moscow's consent to return the Chinese Eastern Railway rolling stock, except locomotives, the Manchukuo Government will present a note demanding unconditional return of the engines belonging to the railway. It is believed that if the Soviet call a strike on the railway or hedge in any way, Manchukuo will procee'd to seize the whole of the line in which Russia has a half share.
