WIDE AREA OF LAND SUBMERGED BY WATERS A TRAIN THREATENED Sydney, April 6. The Hawkesbury river is rising so rapidly that the town of Windsor is expected to be isolated by the morning. The rain has now ceased, however, and it is possible the river ma.y subside. Thoutsands of lacres of land are already isubmerged. .The WindsorSydney ER'oad being under water has been closed to traffie. The firie weather ha.s removed fears bf serious floods in the far northern rivers, but the weather 'bureau has insued a warning that floods were to be expected in the south coast rivers. All the creeks' in the Liverpool district overflowed yesterday. Bridges became impassable, isolating farmers. Many low lying areas in the Sydney suburbs were under water yesterday and numerous houses in Bankstown were flooded. The water in the main streets was several feet deep. The Canterbury Park racecoufse is flooded to a depth of two feet and much damage has been done to niarket gardens. 1
