Received April 7, 9.55 p.m. Calcutta, April 7-. What appears to be murder and suicide pact, was discovered at Acred Hill in Madras when six bodies were found on a raised mound and the seventh, that of a middle aged Indian, was found hanging" on a tree. A letter on this body indicated that the man was a native of Trichinopoly, The family was destitute and unhappy. He decided to' kill his wife* two sons ■and two daughters and a baby before committing suicide. There is evidence that the last moments were spent in a prayer.
