The Qovertiment meteorolosilst is- * sued the following weather report and forecast fast niffht: — General situation: The anti-cyclone has commenced to move eastward, its centre now being located near the Chatham Isiands; a cyclone is .situated on the western Tasman Sea. Forecast: Winds "north-easterly to northerly, stro'ng to gale force in the far north, elsewhere light to moderate but freshening. Weather: Stil Ifair to finfe in most districts, but unsettled conditions set--ting in in the far north with rain, and rain becoming fairly ge'neral by tomorrow night.
