For the, fifth year in succession, Otago won the interprovincial eightoar ro wing championship- of New Zealand, decidgd on Wellington Harhour lasij Saturday. Pictures' of this premier event of the Dominion's rowing calendar are featured in the current issue of the "New Zealand Free Lance." The second crieket test hetvveen New Zealand and the British team at Auckland is another prominent feature of this issue. The fun in Cathedral Square, Christchurch, last week during the Mayor's Relief of Distress Fund Carnival is another interesting feature. Other pictures to which prominence is given in the pictorial section include: The first meeting of the Waitangi Trust Boaird at the Bay of Islands; British cricketers in the Thermal Regions; Fete at Collingwood, Nelson; Farmers' outing near Wellington; Stalking in the Southern Alps; Thorndon School (Wellington) Jubilee Celehrations; Southern Cross on Ninety Mile Beach; and the visit of about 100 owners, trainers and jockeys to the Elderslie Stud, Oamiaiu.
