FROHIBITION URGED IN BILL. The Association of Scientific Workers in England is taking steps to promote a Bill to prohibit the use and issue of bogus degrees. The Bill provides for. a penalty not exceeding £50 for the unauthorised use of letters denoting the holding of a university degree, and £50 for each offence where degrees are granted other than hy a reeognised university.
