OPOTIKI JAZZ CLUB
The opening evening of the Opotiki Jazz Club's dance season, was held in the Farmers' Social Rooms on Thursday evening. The music wasi supplied hy the Semla Orchestra ■and the supper by the Jazz CommitAmongst the ladies present were: Misses M. Isaac, E. Armstrong, _ B. Short, A. Tabh, J. Kirkhride, M. Birkmyer, L. Clark, Z. Gordon, J. Todd, P. Todd, L. Fei'guson, J. Downey, F. Sydenham, K. Garvey, J. Downey, J. Andrews, P. Caldwell and Mlesdames Moxley and F. Rennett.
