St. John Ambulance
The first general meeting of the newly elected committee of the Rotorua branch, St. John Ambulance division, was held last evening. It was decided to c'ommence classes at an early date and young people who are prepared to attend, are asked to leave their names with Mr. H. W. Fuller, tobacconist, Tutanekai Street. The fee for classes was reduced from 7s 6d to 5s. The subject of finance was discussed and it was pointed out that as the branch. would be of considerable assistance to sports bodies, it was hoped that some measure of financial assistance would be forthcoming from those interested. Camp Closes The guns and camp equipment which has been in Rotorua for several weeks in connection with the annual military training camp at Arawa Park was loaded on to railway trucks yesterday by working parties and will be returned to Auckland this morning Members of the 3rd Battery, N.Z.F.A. who have been in camp during the past week, will also return to Auckland this morning.
