FINAL ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE FORTHCOMING SHOW PROVISION FOR EXHIBITS A well attended meeting of the general committee of the Rotorua A. and P. Association was held in the Dolly Varden rooms last night, Mr. H. P. Ford presiding. He reported that the executive had inspected the new building and found satisfactory progress being made. He had no doubt that all would be ready for the next show. Hunter's Cup Mr. C. G. Wyburn, Te Aroha, wrote stating that he won the championship hunter class with "Moscar" in 1927 and as there had been no similar competition since, he felt that he should be allowed to hold the cup. The executive committee was instructed to investigate the position ( and see what cups were stored at the bank.

W.D.F.U. STALL It was resolved to grant free space for a stall at the show to the Ngongotaha branch of the W.D.F.U. Easter Dance It was decided that the application of the Amusement and Publicity Committee of the Borough Council for use of the show building for an Easter carnival dance be declined. It was held that the eoncrete would not be sufficiently set by that time. Allotting Space On the motion of Mr. H. M. Martin, it was decided again" to invite applications for space at the show and that preference be given to agricultural machinery in cases where competition for space occurs. Applications will close on April 20. Prices were fixed at 3s per foot frontage ■inside and 2s 6d outside, arrangements for side shows to be left in the hands of the executive committee. Free Passes Two special passes are to be issued to space holders and members of the W.D.F.U. and Rotorua Women's Club. Mr. E. La Trobe Hill was appointed to look after the tieket box. Afternoon Tea The Rotorua Women's Club was granted the tearoom rights free, all profits on this oecasion to be retained by the club. Blind Institute . It was decided to again offer a free space to the Blind Institute.Collecting Exhibits The collection of exhibits from outIying distri.cts was left to the stewards and executive committee.
