PILOT NOSE DIVES TO SAVE OBSERVER FROM DEATH

Rec. March 22, 9.50 p.m. Londonfi, March 22. Reaehing 28,000 feet over the Farnborough aerodrome Flight-Lieut-onant Stanforth, saw his observer Watson, collapse in his seat owing to faulty new oxygen breathing apparatus, which they were testing. Watson turned black in the face. FlightLieutenant Stanforth immediately spiral dived to earth where Watson revived under artificial respiration, and was rushed to hospital. He is now recovering.
