• A number of friends gathered at the railway station yesterday to bid "au revoir" to three Rotorua ladies who are leaving to-day on a trip abroad. They are Sister Mitchell, of King Street Hospital; Miss B. Evans, of the "Mount," and Miss Rhoda Wynn-Brown, who are saling by the Monowai from Auckland this afternoon. Paymaster Lieut.-Commander S. P. Chapman and Mrsj Chapman (Auck- » land) are at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Moore (London) and Mr. W. P. Clinton-Smith (England) are at the Grand Hotel. Mr. H. T. Fletcher (East Coast), Mr. P. George (Hamilton) and Mr. L. W. Rutledge (Palmerston North) •are staying at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. S. Buckley, Mr. Baxter, Mr. E. Manning and. Mr. G. C. Gampbell (Auckland) are staying at the Palace Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Howie-Walker, of Auckland, are staying at the Geyser Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. K. P. Robinson (Gisborne).^ Mr. and Mrs. Morton and Mr. and Mrs. Bullyant (Auckland) are staying at Brents Bathgate House. Mr. D. Walden, Mr. H. Brinkman, Mr. Adams, Mr. Wilson and Mr. H. Forsdick (Auckland) are staying at the Palace Hotel. Mr. H. G. McCartie (Auckland) is at Brents Bathgate House. Guests at Arawa House include, Mr. Laverton, Mr. Tiger Tayne and Mr. Nelson, of Brisbane, Mr. and Mrs. Williams, of Perth, and Mr. E. C. Tassell, of Tauranga.
