CLOSES AFTER 71 DAYS

Wellington, Friday. An eventful session ended tonight. Sitting 71 days, 38 Government acts were passed by the House and assent was given to thirteen local acts. The principal measures of the session were the convei"sion of Loans Bills, the Banks' Indemnity (Exchange) Bill, the Mortgagors' and Tenants' Relief Bills, Saies Tax Bill, Government Railways Bill giving authority to the Government to sell or lease abandoned or uncompleted lines, and the Small Farms Relief of Unemployment Bill. The session closed.with the usual valed'ictory references.
