DISARMAMENT
(Press. Assn. —
DOMINION DELEGATES ALSO TO ATTEND AT GENEYA NEW STEP IN DIPLOMACY
By Telegraph — Copyright).
Rec. March 10. London, March 9. Though Downing Street made no specific request to the Dominions to co-operate, Mr. S. M. Bruce, Australian Minister, and the Canadian High Commissioner, Hon. G. H. Ferguson, are going to Geneva to-mor-row to attend the Disaiunament Conference owing to the gnavity of the crisis. Their attendance is a new develop- ; ment in the Dominions' diplomacy. No Dominion representatives have hitherto journeyed to Geneva except for formal transactions, for exaniple, the Assembly opening. Mr. Bruce is reluctant to leave London in view of the butter situation, but considers it is essential to maintain contact with the British Government over disarmament. Consequently there will be no further butter negotiations until he returns.
