. ' AMENDMENTS TO ACT MADE BY NEW MEASURE
Wellington, Tuesday. Several amendments to the law relating to superannuation funds are contained in Finance Bill No. 4, which was introduced into the House of Representatives this afternoon. t Contributors who elect to contribute to the funds on the basis of their salaries before the imposition of the . salary cuts, may do so until the end of May next. It is explained that a number of contributors who have failedito make necessary application as copfributors to the superannuation funds; and who are provided with the use. pf a house, are permitted to have thfc." rental value of such house treated as salary for superannuation purpos'es. • This provision was made in 1925' and -contributors were to apply to come- under it within 18 months. Many negleeted to do so and a clause in the Bill permits them to make application within six months of the passipg of the measure.
