DOUKHOBOR PROTEST
LEADER DEMANDS ROYAL COMMISSION FOR INVESTIGATION Rec. March 8, 5.5 p.m. Winnipeg, Mai'ch 7. Peter Verigixx, the spiritual and texnporal ruler of tlxe Doukhobox*s in Canada, will request a Royal Commission to investigate the whole Doukho» box* situation, he said here to-night. If the request is refused, he and J 6,000 followers will parade in the nude from their settlement to Winnipeg. Verigin is en route home from Halifax where he was released recently following a local fight to px'event his deportation to Russia.
