Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Auckland, report as follows: — At our weekly Westfield fat stock salo to-day the yarding of ox beef was fully an average one and met with steady denxand. Late rates were again maixxtained. Cow and lxeifer beef also came forward in full avex--age and sold under steady coxnpetition at values on a par with late rates. Extra choice ox sold to 20s per 100 lb; choice and prirne, 17s to 19s; just killable, 14s to 16s; prirne young cow and heifer beef, 17s to 19s; just killable 14s to 16s. Extra heavy prirne steers x'anged in price from £7 15s to £8; heavy prirne steers, £6 15s to £7 12s 6d; lighter prirne steers, £6 5s to £6 12s 6d; light px'ime steex's, £5 to £6 2s 6d; small and unfinished £3 7s 6d to £4 15s; extra heavy prirne young cows and heifers £4 5s to £4 7s 6d; heavy prime cows and heifers £3 10s to £4 2s 6d; lighter prime cows and heifers £3 to £3 7s 6d; other killable 1/R
