NOVEL TRAIN
EXPERIMENTS IN SWITZERLAND An xxltra-rap'id train has just been designed by Professor Kui*t Weissinger, of Zurich, Switzerland. He claims it can reach a speed of 150 to 300 m.p.h. The invention consists of a new application of the propellersystern — a kind of aix*plane on rails — with an anti-dex*ai'ling) device. The Federal riailway authori'cies have undertaken to provide a line three nxiles long for tests with a half-size model.
