COMING CONFERENCE

ENTERTAINMENT PROGRAMME FOR VISITING DELEGATES. Following is the round of entertainment to be provided by the Rotorua publieity and amusement committee for the delegates to the Municipal conference which is to sit in Rotorua. The Mayoress convened a xneeting of ladies who have undertaken to arrange for the supply of morning and afternoon tea during the period of the Conference-, the Council to provide the necessary materials. The programme which has been axvanged is as under: — Wedncsday 2nd March: Opening day of Conference; the ladies to attend conference at 9.30 a.m. for civic welcome, after which they will be escorted by the Ladies' Committee and shown round the Government Gardens, being entertained to morning tea at the Tea Kiosk. Thursday evening: Social evening for the ladies at the Tea Kiosk. Friday evening: Maoxfi concert in the Majestic Theatre to which all delegates and their wives will te invited. • . # Saturday, 4th March: A motor trip to Green and Blue Lakes, Tikitere, I-Iongi's Track and Okataina. Lunch will be provided near Hongi's Track and a hangi will be prepared. The Rotorua Golf Club and Rotorua Citizens' Club have kindly consented to extend the privilege of honary membership to delegates duriixg the period of the cqnference.
