Rotorua swimmer who broke the New Zealand record in a 50 yards invitation race at Napier on Wednesday. competed at Gisborne last evening, winxxing both the 50 yarcfs and 150 yards handicap events. His time last evening for the 50 yards xvas 25 4-5see, while an attempt to break the 100 yards record was unsuccessful.
