The Mayor, Mr. T. Jackson and Crs. A. Smith and Geo. Urquh&rt, have been appointed to represent the Rotorua Borough Council at a conference with the other eontiguous local hodies and the Puhlie Works Department in connection with the allocation of heavy traffic fees. Mr. S. Boyle, Mr. Shaw and Mr. G. McKee (Auckland), Mr. Craig (Hamilton), Mr. Fraser (Auckland) are staying at the Palace Hotel. Guests at the Gra'nd Hotel include Madame Avanzo (Belgium). Miss Finlayson, Miss Seward, Admiral Sir Edward and Lady Heaton-Ellis, HonW. McCormack and Misses McCormack (London.) The following are at Brents Bathgate House: Mr. J. Morehouse, Mr. J. McKechnie (Christchurch), Mr. A. T. F. Stokes, Mr. W. C. Cauldwell (Canterbury. ) M. J. Poliakoff (Paris), 'Mrs. and Miss Howard (England), Mr. and Mrs. R. Emerson (Auckland), Miss Canipbell and Miss Worthington (Wellington) are staying at Waiwera House. Mr. and Mrs. Burrow of Pio Pio, Miss E. Cowan, Mr. S. Robinson. Mr. Cargill of Auckland, Mr. and Mrs. A. Long of Matamata, Miss E. Freeman of Wellington, Dr. and Mrs. Hetherington, Mr. J. Shaw of Waihi, Miss A. Bradbury of Masterton* Miss E. Cox and Miss H. Cholerton of Christchruch are staying at the Bungalow.
