FAREWELL AFTERNOON In order to bid farewell and bon voyage to Mrs. B. G. Thompson, who i's leaving Rotorua to reside in Tonga, Mrs. A. C. Randerson was hostess at a very pleasant afternoon at her home in Pererika Street last week. Decorations in the drawing-room were carried out artistically in blue hydrangeas and crimson dahlias, and Mrs. Randerson received her guests wearing a charminig afternoon frock of dove-grey crepe de chine. The guest of the afternoon was in Yenetian blue • spotted marocain, with' ia hlack bangkok hat. During the afternoon a novelty eompetition was held, the winner being Mrs. Thompson. Among the guests were: — Mrs. H. Bertram, Mrs. B. M. Green, Mrs. S. Wallis, Mrs. S. H. Hay, Mrs. St. Clair, Mrs. C. Hitchcock, Mrs. A. G. Holland, Miss Hoole and Miss P. St. Clair.
