Ramon Novarro has broken qll records for military service on the screen. During a long film career, leading to his present role as an exiled Chinase army leader in "The SonDaughter," at M-G-M, he counts Austrian, Balkan, French, Spanish, Russia, United States Marine, .and English among the many uniforms he has worn, in the service of the screen. Walter Huston could, if , he liked, perform feats of magic for a living. When he was chosen by M-G-M for ihe part of "Deadlegs" Flint in "Kongo," and was required to play a cripp'le who terrorised superstitious African natives with awesome tricks, a celehrated magician was engaged as instructor. Huston took lessons in making fire disappear, sand similar feats.
