DIED FROM STROKE

Invercargill, Monday. Yesterday, a single man named Robert Bell, aged 50 years, employed as a shepherd at Castledown Station, Dipton, was found in an unconscious condition on the property. He was removed to the Winton hospital and died soon after arrival. At the inquest a verdict was returned that deceased met his death as the result of cerebral haemorrhage following a stroke.
