BOWLERS ARRIVE
NO. 1 TOURNAMENT PLAY COMMENCES ON MONDAY AT GOV ERNMENT GROUNDS SECTION DRAW ARRANGED During the week-end bowlers from all parts of the North Island will arrive in Rotorua to engage in the thirty-first annual tournament of the Rotorua Bowling Club which "vvill commence on the greens in the Government grounds on Monday morning at 9 a.m. Entries received for the No. 1 tournament this year are well up to the total of past seasons, and there are very few districts in the Island which are not represented in any of the five sections. Last year's winning :skip, Robertson (Onehunga) has not entered a rink this year but the 1931 winner, Maxwell Walker (Auckland) will be again competing in the rinks competition, having Hardie-Neil again as his lead. Butt (Rotorua), who was runner-up after a fine game with Maxwell Walker in 1931, will again skip a Rotorua team which, also, eomprises McDowell, Herd 'and Fowkes.
