(From Our District Representative) ANNUAL MEETING ELECTS OFFICERS FOR ENSUING • YEAR EASTER CARNIVAL The annual meeting of the Ngongotaha Athletic Club was held in the Ngongotaha Hall on Wednesday evening, Mr. A. L. Keith presiding. The report and balance sheet which was read and adopted disclosed a very satisfactory position for the year, the amount standing to the credit of the club being £33 16s lOd. The following offieers were elected for the ensuing year: — Patron, Mr. H. Smyth; president, Mr. A. L. Keith ; vice-presidents, Messrs J. Smyth, H. M. Martin, C. Managh, C. Robinson, D. B. Aitken, C. Smith, C. Hemming, H. Rowland, A. J. Isdale, H. Drysdale, J. E. Martin, Captain F. Stanier, C. Redhead, B. Robinson, II. P. Ford, E. Ford, E. Meyer, W. A. Wackrow, D. Cambie, E. Bruce and W. Stembridge ; trustees Messrs. A. L. Keith and W. Stembridge; auditor, Mr. H. Pitts; treasurer, Mr. C. Burrows; secretary, Mr. G. J. Burney; committee, Messrs. Smyth, Kneebone, J. Moule, C. Burrows, C. Smith, W. Stembridge, and L. Marcroft. ; Diseussion centred on the amalgamation of separate bodies in the township having similar ohjects and it was decided to recommend to the ineoming* executive that it assume control of the Amateur Sports Club. It was decided to hold a sports meeting at the Ngongotaha Domain on Easter Monday, April 17, the programme to comprise chopping, horse events, and athletic events. Programmes will be advertised laijer.
