MAJESTIC THEATRE
TO-DAY AND TO-NIGHT "The Miracle Man," now at the Majestic Theatre, is a powerful picturisation of George M. Cohan's celebrated drama of flesh-and-blood men and women, sinning, struggling, loving, risiilg- from the underwqrld into the light. It is a picture of crooked lives made straight, of sordid lives made bright, by the wholesome sway of the country and an old maai's trust in men. No propangada,' no creed, no "ism." A vivid story of human hearts, told on the screen in scenes of marvellous variety. Driving ahead with action that grips and holds. Softened with humour so- true that it laughs with all mankind, so keen that it starts the tears. A tale that goes straight to the heart of the erowd. A splendid selection of shorts is also shown, ineluding a Rodeo picture of finest buckjumping and steer-riding ever presented in Rotorua; another short worthy of mention is the Dogville comedy, "Trader Hound."
