Lyons, said that the Cockatoo Dockyards at Sydney had been leased to a company known as the Cockatoo ' Dock and Engineering Company. Mr. Lyons said that the terms were satisfactory. The lease is for 21 years. For some years past the dockyards had involved the" Comnionwealth in very heavy -loss. For last calqndar year, the loss on working " accounts alone was £7.0,000.
