Georgettes were popular in both the floral designs and plain, all frocks being made of ankle length. Organdies, floral and figured materials were also favoured. Tightfitting summer suits worn slightly shorter than the ordinary frocks and with smart straw hats to tone were also popular. Picture hats have returned and look very stylish, with pale or floral materials, the flat straw :hats, however* still prove favourites.
