Rec. Jan. 29, 6.10 p.m. Los Angeles, January 28. Wholesale exo'dus of foreign film talent from Hollywood was forecast to-day by Mrr, Murray W. GarsOn, special assistant of the United States Secretary of Labour, who announced that all foreign actresses, aetors and technicians were under scrutiny. Mr. Garson inaugurated a longheralded Government drive by arresting John Farrow, screen writer and a familiar person in the film colony, on a eharge of overstaying his leave. Farrow is said to be a native of Australia. It was alleged that he first entered the United States as a seaman. His screen plays include, "The Wheel of Live," Wolfstrom," "Ladies of the Mob," and "The Woman from Moscow." Mr. Garson said he had begun questioning Morena Sullivan, the Irish actress in eonnection with the arrest of Farrow.
