sound majorities London, January 27. AR Mr. de Valera's Mindsters have been re-elected. All, with the exception of Mr. Geohegan, headed the poll in the first preferences. Miss Pearse, the third woman elect- j ed, is a sister of Padraig Pearse who was executed in 1916. Five Cosgrave, two Centre, foUr Labour and one independent candidates forfeited their deposits. No Fianna Fail supporter forfeited. Mr. Dan Breen (Fianna Fail) has been elected for Tipperary. i Mr. H. B. Morris, speaking at the Holyhead municipalty, disciosed that during the recent deputation to Mr. T. H. Thomas regarding the distress prevailing there, owing to the Anglo[rish dispute, Mr. Thomas, thumping the table declared. "I told Mr. de Valera he could have his damn republic but he would have to take the mnsequences." Mr. Thomas in an interview there)n refused to comment.
