MYSTERY VESSEL
Brisbane, January 24. Reports from Thursday Island state that a mysterious vessel like. a Japanese fishing proa, of about 50 tons, was seen in Torres Strait. Attempts to intercept the stranger were foiled by rain squalls, wherein she disappeared.
