MINISTER SAYS PRICE TOO HIGH FOR PURCHASE Wellington, Tuesday. No arrangements have yet been made by the Unemployment Board to purchase further supplies of mutton for distribution to the unemployed. When asked what action was to be taken, the Minister of Employment, the Hon. a. Hamilton ( said the decision as to whether the stoeks were to be replenished would be. a matter for the Cabinet and the board to decide. Stock which was being killed at the freezing woi'ks at present was too dear for the board to purchase. The matter would be considered wheri a start was made to kill mutton in large quantities.
