YOUNG WELLINGTON TEAM TO PLAY AGAINST AUCKLAND
Auckland, Thursday. Youth is well represented in the Wellington representative cricket team which arrived to-day for .the Plunlcet Shield game against Auckland, commencing to-morrow morning at 11 o'clock. The average age of the team is 24 years. The side is the youngest sent out from Wellington for many years. The 12 players, eomprising the party are: K. C. James, C. S. Demp•ster, E. D. Blundel, J. Newman (Nelson), J. A. R. Blandford, E. Tindill, D. Cameron (Rangitikei), C. Parsloe, R. Morgan, J. R. Lamason, D. L. Freeman (Nelson) and M. A. ■O'Brien (Hawke's Bay). The twelfth man will not be selected until after the side has praetised at Eden Park this afternoon. .
