A LONG TOW
Sydney, January 19. One of the longest tows in Australian waters was completed when the Tateishi Maru arrived at Sydney with the Shinai Maru, which broke a tailshaft off Woodlark Island, Papua, on January 6. Tlm tow extended 1600 miles and took 12 days, five of which were through heavy seas and a gale.
