THE DEBT PROBLEMS
A SOLUTION IMPERATIVE Rec. Jan. 19, 7.0 p.m. New York, Jan. 18. The Washington correspondent of the Herald Tribune reports that the conferenee is called for the purpose of the early opening of debt negotiations. Mr. Hoover and Mr. Roosevelt find themselves in agreement that no time should be lost in seekfing solutions of the debt problems. It is stated that they ar-e hopeful of teaching a basis of action to permit d-ebtor countries to present their cases hefore .the change of administration..
