WEDDING

WEBB— CAVE A very pretty wedding was celebrated by the Rev. N. F. Benham in St. Stephen's Church on Wednesday morning, when Loma Neilsonia, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. C. Cave, of Opotiki, was married to Edward Norman, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Webb, of Opotiki. . The bride, who entered the church on the arm of her father, was attired in a frock of white flat crepe minerva with pin tucked hips and flared slcirt, the hack and front of which were panelled. The faggoted cowl collar, hung from the neek, while the long puffed sleeves were pin tucked into the elbow, fiijishing with' a fitting cuff. Her veil was of white tulle and orange blossom intertwined with white ribbon, and her shoes white satin. She carried a bouquet of lily of the valley, maidenhair fern and trecoletium. The bridesmaids were Miss Alicia Cave, sister of the bride, . and Miss Dell Nankerville, of Thames. Miss Cave wore apple green cotton and Irish allover lace, the tight fitting bodice being of organdie with frills of this material at intervals on the full flared skirt and dn the puffed sleeyes. Miss Nankerville's frock was made the same, her colour being a delicate shade of pink. Both bridesmaids wore mesh gloves with shirred organdie gauntlet cuffs the satin dress shoes and shirred caps toning effectively. Their bouquets were of pink roses, pink sweet peas and maidenhair fern. Mi'. J. Connolly, of Whakatane, was best man and Mr. G. Guy, of Timaru, was groomsman. Mrs. Cave, mother of the bride, wore a becoming frock of silver grey crepe marjorie, while Mrs. E. Webb, mother of the bridegroom, was dressed in navy blue crepe de chine trimmed with fawn, the hat and shoes to tone. They carried bouquets of heliotrope and yellow flowers. The bride's two sisters, Mrs. A. Short, of Opotiki, and Mrs. T. File, of Gisborne, were also present, Mrs. File wearing coral shasta sillc with panelled skirt relieved with black trimmings and a two-tone scarf at the neclc.^ The pink summer felt hat added effect.

Mrs. Short s frock was of crepe marocain in orange and nigger brown shades, the hat and shoes matching. During the service Miss M. Sydenham was organist. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents, Wellington Street. Mrs. Cave had the ruception room tastefully decorated with blue hydrangas and a two-tiered wedding cake occupied the centre of the table. Mrs. Webb chose as her travelling attire a frock of midnight blue bengoline with popular eape effect. Her * black f ancy straw hat and her dainty black shoes completed the outfit. The happy couple left by private car for their honeymoon.
