Rec. Jan. 15, 11.40 p.m. London, January 15. There are over 500,000 influenza victims. The epidemic is dislocating business throughout the country. Fifty thousand are in bed in London, including 3000 postmen and telegraphists. The death rate has risen to 400 weekly throughout the country. The malady is especially attaeking athletes and those .following open air oecupations. Hospital staffs are becoming affected while nursing patients.
