PRESIDENT R. WILSON WINS THE MAGEE TROPHY EASILY

On Saturday the Rangitaiki Club fired for a trophy presented by Mr. B. Magee, the conditions being 10 shots at 600 yards. A westerly gale was blowing at the time and this was accountable for the poor sh'ooting. Notwith3ltJi.nding this, President R. Wilson compiled a fair score of 44 off the rifle and with 2 points handicap made his total 46, winning the trophy quite easily. / The scores are as follows: —
The club is endeavouring to send several marksmen to compete at the Auckland Rifle Association meeting on January 30. All members are requested to engage in as much practice as possible.
