OIL FOR CATTLE
Ottawa, 'January 11. Details in connection "with the proposed oil and cattle deal between Canada and Russia are at a standstill. So far the Canadian Government has ; given no indication of its attitude toward the proposal although unoffieial reports credit the Prime Minister, Mr. R. B. Bennett, with outlining a seheme which involved the sale of 100,000 cattle to Russia.
