POST MORTEM AUTHQRISEB IN WAITAKARE CASE

Auckland, Thursday. The inquest concerning the death of James: C. Allen, who died as the effects of poisoning while being taken from Waitakare to .the Auckland hospital on Wednesday afternoon, was opened before the coroner, Mr. F. K. Hunt, S.M. Mr. Goodall, father of Florence Annie Goodall, who was taken to the hospital at the same time, gave evidence, and said that he had been in the Waitakare district about ten months, employed at the returned soldiers' relief camp. Allen was living apart ■ from his wif e and had three children. , Witness was in the motor car in which Allen died. Following Mr. Goodall's evidence, the inquiry was ad j ourned. i A post niortem examiiiation of deceased has been authorised.
