ESTIMATES MAINTAINED.
The State revenue for the six months of the financial year was £24,675,619, "a. net increase of £2,486,597 compared with the similar period last year. The expenditure totalled £27,291,681. The assistant treasurer, Mr. E. S. Spooner said it was pleasing that the budgetary estimates are being well maintained.
