UNKNOWN WOMAN JUMPS FROM HAMILTON BRIDGE.

YOUNG MOTHER MISSING
Hamilton, Wednesday. A woman, who has not been identified, scrambled up on the railing of the railway bridge about 12.30 p.m. to-day and jumped into the river. She quickly disappeared from sight. There were few eye-witnesses of the incident and nobody was near the woman when she performed her rash act. It appears that the woman leapt off the bridge on the town side "and touched the branches of some of the acacia trees when falling. She disappeared in a few minutes. As soon as the act was noticed a crowd gathered on the bridge, bnt there was no dgn of anyone in the water. There is no_clue to her identify. The poliee were quickly on the rcene, patrolling and dragging the river below the bridge in a launch.
