FURTHER CLASHES OCCUR WITH REBELS AND POLICE RAILWAYS DISORGANISED

Madrid, January 10. The unrest continues. Four civil guards were killed in suppressing risings in two Valencian villages, where the peasants have established Soviets. The efforts of the revolutionaries to secure arms and ammunition continue, involving attacks on arsenals and dynamite stores. Clashes between the strikers and the authorities had occurred at Seville, Murcia, Valencia, and Cadiz. The south-eastern railways are disorganised. * An engine-driver was wounded by gunfire at Valencia.
