STRUCK REEF

STEAMER DISABLED ON. AN UNCHARTED REEF Brisbane, January 5. The liner, Olive Bank, which was reported to have struck a reef at New Guinea, is proceeding to Rabaul with her forepeak full of water. The vessel grounded on what is thought to be an uneharted reef off the New Guinea coast, hut was suceessfully refloated.
