AN AGREEMENT
COSGRAVE AND FARMERS Rec. Jan. 5, 11.30 p.m. Dnhlin, January 5. Though complete fusion of the Constitutionalists is impossible in the time available, it is clear ly certain that the talk between Mr. Cosgrave and the Farmers Leader, Mr. McDerniott, wll produce an agreement that each party shall give the other a clear field. Mr. Cosgrave will not contest seats where the Farmers have the best chances. Similarly the Farmers will refrain from hampering Mr. Gosgrave's strongholds. Mr. de Valera opens his campaign at Dundalk to-morrow.
