The Times' Berlin correspondent states a hint that Germany is aimj ing at military service for youths was ; given by General von Schleicher during the President's new year reception. Referring to disarmament Gen- ; eral Schleicher sad: "Germany returned to Geneva in order to achieve real disarmament and obtain the same yecurity as had been achieved by other nations. If she could succeed in restoring to German youth the right to bear arms within the framework of the militia a big step towards endI nig internal dissensions would have ; been made."
